Berkeley JV Teams Cruise to Victory

Berkeley JV Teams Cruise to Victory

8 September, 2015

Berkeley Junior Varsity Boys & Girls basketball teams hammered local opposition Concordia yesterday in the first friendly matches of the season.

  • Our boys won 23 - 7
  • Our girls won 24 - 15.

Berkeley shot out Into the Lead in Games showing both Great athleticism, fitness, Skill and Teamwork.

Coaches Haas & Strunk were quoted as saying after the games, 'our skills inside the key, hard running and tenacious defense won the day'.

Notable performances for the JV girls go to Barbour - shooting 8 for 8, Roy and Brandstetter. The Boys were led in the field by York - shooting 6 from 8 and Leone.

Onofre added some extra class in defense and on the break.

That winning spirit.

We are Berkeley.
