In 2017 to facilitate better sporting opportunities for our rapidly expanding sporting activities Berkeley joined the newly founded AISAA league.

SWIMMING
SEASONS: AUGUST- NOVEMBER
AND MARCH-MAY
Berkeley’s swimming program continues to expand with meets against other international schools during a two pronged season. Our program has been truly enhanced by the opening of our Olympic sized swimming pool in 2016. Berkeley fields swim teams at the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Elementary school levels for both boys and girls.

SOCCER
SEASON: NOVEMBER- MARCH
Soccer season brings with it a lot of excitement and competitive action. Apart from normal GBAC league, Berkeley competes in the annual Friendship Cup in November and the Soccer Sixes competition in March. As well as normal GBAC league play Berkeley will host and visit other international schools in the area to compete in games on a friendly one off basis. As with all of our other sports we will field teams to play competitively against other schools ranging from 6 to 18 years old. We pride ourselves on being able to field teams for both boys and girls in all age levels. This type of turnout shows the inspired sporting ethos we set on our campus and the winning competitive spirit will instilled in all of our budding athletes.

BADMINTON
SEASON: MARCH - MAY
As the weather heats up so does the competition. Berkeley competes in the GBAC badminton league, with tournaments including both doubles and singles play for students of all ages, including both boys and girls.
TRACK AND FIELD
SEASON: JANUARY - MARCH
Berkeley takes to the stadium with all other GBAC member schools to engage in two athletic track meets each year. Disciplines featured will include 100, 200, 400, and 800 meter runs, plus 4 X 100 meter relays. Long jump and shot putt will also be included.
