LIBRARY OVERVIEW

The Berkeley Library serves all students and staff at the school, including lending privileges for parents, with a book collection spanning over 10,000 titles and growing. The majority of the collection is English, with recognition of the international community we serve, there is a Thai section, as well as featured titles in German, Dutch, Mandarin, and Russian; periodicals include the Bangkok Post, Scientific America, National Geographic, and the Economist.

 

The diverse collection includes favorite children's authors like Mo Willems and Dr. Seuss, Siam Award winners, Dave Pilkey, Newbery, Printz, and Hugo Award winners, popular young adult authors, and classics. In addition to a broad fiction section, the nonfiction selections are curated to enhance our students' exploration and study of the world.

 

Weekly library lessons are provided for students in Lion Cubs through Grade 5, with our middle school and high school students having study hall and classes hosted in our learning center.
