Grade 7 Art students explored masks from around the world and created their own clay masks inspired by different cultures.
After bisque firing, students glazed their masks using low-fire glazes that create vibrant colors and glossy finishes through heat reactions. This hands-on project connected art, science, and social studies while introducing ancient ceramic techniques.
